High Peak School has been transformed following a significant investment in new facilities by the Kedleston Group. Previously the buildings were owned by Best Western when it was Moorside Hotel since then it has undergone major constructional works to the buildings involving demolition and refurbishment. It has now been completely transformed into a school which supports children with autism and SEMH in a bespoke and nurturing environment.
Works included transforming a swimming pool into a sports hall and demolition of the old hotel dining room which has now been landscaped with grassed areas and walk ways to the new dining area and car park drop off points.
