We swapped the boardroom for the changing rooms to beat the competition on the pitch while building relationships off the pitch at the 5 a-side football tournament. It took place at Goals in Doncaster and the match had slightly different rules to your usual football match such as the ball couldn't go above shoulder height and players can't pass back to the keeper.
It was a great afternoon of friendly (but rough) competition with our members. It was a great experience and they loved every minute of the event. We had 2 teams, one representing Concorde BGW and the other representing Revivalist, the furnishing part to our business.
Although they made it to the finals and got a few bumps and scrapes along the way, they didn’t quite manage to take home the winners’ cup.
