The Punchbowl and Ladle is a traditional thatched Cornish pub with a rich history dating back to the 15th century, playing a key part in the stories of travellers, mariners, and locals – both old and new.

The historic pub has an intimate private dining room, a games room, a 100-cover restaurant and a relaxed outdoor seating area, making it the perfect place to dine and drink, whatever the occasion. The refurbishment reflects the original warm and cosy feel of the venue, just with an added bit of sparkle.

The cosy open fireplace offers the perfect retreat on colder days, while the inviting beer garden beckons on sunny afternoons. Inspired by the colours and textures of the pub’s woodland surroundings, the newly refreshed interiors see shades of pastel greens and burnt reds complement the cosy charm of the bar and snug areas. In the dining room and restaurant, lighter neutral colours share the space with walls adorned in colourful feature wallpaper, with nods to the pub’s history decorated throughout.
