Originally called Rowsley Manor, The Peacock dates from 1652 and was built for the Steward of nearby Haddon Hall. Now a luxury hotel and fine dining destination, we have refreshed the interiors to create a comfortable, light and airy ambience while still preserving that well-loved historic charm.
Located in the beautiful Peak District National Park, the hotel is an ideal base to explore and discover all that the area has to offer. From the award-winning fine dining restaurant; a very popular private dining room which is perfect for special occasions; a cosy atmospheric bar with fine wines, local real ales and a freshly cooked local food offering. To complete the experience, the beautiful river-fronted garden offers a peaceful retreat to relax and unwind.
There are fifteen bedrooms, from cosy single rooms to bedrooms with four poster beds and a luxurious suite. Each room within this historic hotel has been individually styled and features antique furnishings, comfortable beds and luxury fabrics.
