In just over a month, Concorde BGW turned an old bar in Manchester into the new Foundry Project which provides an industrial themed all-day drinking and dining experience. The majority of the work to the 2 storey, 142 cover site was cosmetic with new furniture, lighting and decorations added to the ground floor and basement. The restaurant had part of the existing bar removed to create space for a new pizza oven bringing the Foundry Project in line with the current market trend of restaurants serving a ‘street food’. The most prominent feature is the new Estrella tank that dominates a space close to the entrance and is the first of its kind in the UK.
