Working as the main contractor on this project, alongside designers Fusion by Design, we have completely refreshed the Slug & Lettuce on Boar Lane in Leeds. As a build-only project, our role was to bring the design vision to life – and we did just that.
The goal of this transformation was to create a space where guests can relax, socialise, and enjoy themselves. The new design blends modern, chic style with comfort throughout, making the venue both stylish and inviting.
From the moment guests arrive, the smart dark blue exterior and illuminated signage set the tone for a welcoming experience. Inside, bold wallpaper adds personality and colour, providing an ‘Instagrammable’ backdrop for photos. Three large, suspended rafts hang from the ceiling, filled with trailing plants that bring a lively, natural element to the space.
Seating has been updated throughout, with comfortable booths and sofas, creating areas for intimate gatherings or larger groups. The combination of refreshed interiors, thoughtful lighting, and playful design details makes this Slug & Lettuce a vibrant and memorable destination in the heart of Leeds.
