Located in historic Backwell on the outskirts of Bristol and a short drive from Weston-Super-Mare, The Rising Sun is a beautifully refurbished pub and inn, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
The long-standing nature of pubs means a wealth of existing features have been utilised in the redesign. In the bar area, herringbone wood flooring creates an eye-catching finish and the wooden bar front has been beautifully restored. Both features are timeless and pay homage to the roots of the building.
Decorative wood panelling is a popular feature both in the bar and six en-suite rooms have been painted a traditional Victorian shade of green or blue. Other key factors of the Rising Sun’s traditional design include a degree of formality, upholstered oversized furniture and architectural details such as ornate fireplaces, creative ceiling architecture, and decorative windows.
