A little piece of Cheltenham’s history, The Old Restoration is the town’s oldest pub, dating back to 1661. Given the history of this beautiful Tudor building, it was important to expose and retain as many of the period features as possible. From the original timber flooring and the characterful low beams, to the timber-clad fireplace that had been hidden under layers of paint for years, the team at Concorde BGW worked carefully to restore these beautiful features and preserve the character of the venue.
