This welcoming Grade II-listed pub, steeped in character and nestled on the banks of the Thames, has been beautifully refurbished. Just a stone’s throw from the Chiltern Hills and moments from boutique shops and riverside trails, it offers the perfect base to explore the buzzing and vibrant market town of Marlow.
We have transformed this venue from a budget hotel into a cosy, home-from-home pub with rooms. Perfectly located on Marlow’s high street, The George and Dragon has been thoughtfully reimagined as it becomes part of the Heartwood family.
The transformation includes 17 beautifully refurbished boutique bedrooms, a warm and inviting bar, a stylish dining room, and a charming courtyard. A fresh, modern and garden-inspired palette brings the interior to life, creating a relaxing and engaging space for all who visit.
Every detail within the design reflects the brand’s signature approach to hospitality, combining comfort, character and a genuine sense of home away from home.
