Concorde BGW were asked to design and fit-out the restaurant and holiday cottage at Iford Manor, working with seasonal hues and a careful blend of restraint and opulence to deliver interior spaces that work all year round.
The new-look eatery provides lunches, afternoon tea and snacks created by an award-winning chef to garden visitors and walkers alike, with a large outside seating area boasting views of the Wiltshire countryside.
Extending out from the interior space, the south-facing terraced garden has many interesting facets to it. The borders are overflowing with plants that are layered - taller plants at the back can climb the walls and smaller ones at the front provide colour and scents. The entire area is edged with rocks and pretty shrubs which soften the landscape and attract wildlife like birds and butterflies.
