Set away from the hustle and bustle of Wells Quay, Staithe Street and The Buttlands, Arch House is a peaceful retreat. The red-brick house is a Grade II listed building, with views over Wells' rooftops and meadows. It provides a variety of accommodation suitable for couples, families and groups of friends, with a communal sitting room, a lounge and a sunny terrace.
In early 2025, our team fully refurbished all 13 bedrooms, giving them a fresh new look inspired by the Norfolk coastline. Sandy tones, reclaimed wood, and subtle nautical touches bring the outside in, combining coastal charm with modern comforts to create a cosy home-from-home feel. The bedrooms are light, bright and airy, with interiors featuring a rich palette of nature-inspired tones such as deep greens, warm browns, and soft sandy hues.
Bedrooms include features such as en-suite bathrooms with walk-in showers, heated towel rails, and plenty of natural light, all adding to the relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. With a variety of room types, including Suites, Family rooms, and a selection of King rooms, there’s something to suit every kind of stay.
