Our Story
The Yorkshire Air Ambulance have served millions of people throughout Yorkshire and we ourselves have our own personal experiences to share.
The Yorkshire Air Ambulance helped Katie's dad get to hospital after he was involved in a major car accident. Thanks to YAA’s speed of response, Katie and her family were granted a few minutes by his side before he passed away. They are and forever will be grateful for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance, without them, the outcome of this heart breaking story could have been much worse.
Thanks to our fundraising efforts, Katie and her family will be given the opportunity to meet the team that rescued her father. She is looking forward to getting to know them and to say thank you.
This is just one of many stories our team have to share about this amazing charity and is one of the reasons why have chose to support them by raising the vital funds they need to continue their work.
About the Yorkshire Air Ambulance
The Yorkshire Air Ambulance operate 2 helicopters which are strategically placed to allow them to transport within a maximum of 20 minutes to a hospital. They attend over 1,800 incidents a year, that’s a minimum of 5 every single day!
