East Street Lanes is shortlisted for the SBID International Design Awards 2020

We are among the impressive global design talent to have become a finalist in the SBID International Design Awards 2020, for its entry into the Club & Bar Design category.

Our project East Street Lanes was shortlisted by this year’s revered international jury for both its technical content and aesthetic creativity.

The Club & Bar Design category is solely for club and/or bar interior design projects that can be permanent, temporary or pop up. Nightclubs, private members clubs and bars were all eligible. The judges paid particular attention to functionality, compliance and fit-for-purpose design.

Guy Bostock, Director at Concorde comments on the shortlist: "East Street is an exciting design that’s instantly recognisable, there is nothing like it in the area. The neon lights and retro futurism style along with a bowling alley, bar and arcade have really made it an entertainment hot spot. The bowling alley is bright, vivid and loud – just like the brand. After all that’s what we aim for with our designs: to bring your brand and vision to life.”

The Judges decisions are finalised by the third and final stage of judging, where the public are now invited to vote for their favourite projects at www.sbidawards.com. Accounting for an influential 30% of the results, the public and ultimate end-users of design have the final say in which projects and products have what it takes to take home a prestigious SBID Award. With previous years seeing an astounding 225,000 unique voters, the voting will close on Wednesday 30th September at 5pm (BST).
