We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Tester to join our team on a contract based out of Nottingham. As an Electrical Tester, at Intend we test public houses including the EICR, emergency lighting, fire alarms.
The day-to-day main duties and responsibilities will include:
- Conduct electrical testing and inspections in accordance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Identify and rectify any faults or deficiencies found during testing.
- Perform periodic inspections and testing on electrical installations, appliances, and equipment.
- Prepare detailed reports on test results, including any necessary recommendations for remedial actions.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and colleagues to provide expert advice and guidance on electrical safety matters.
- Maintain accurate records of all testing activities and ensure compliance with documentation procedures.
Essential Requirements:
- Hold the 2391 qualification (or equivalent) in Electrical Testing.
- Proven experience in electrical testing and inspection, with a strong knowledge of electrical regulations and standards.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license.
Package and Perks:
This role is a full-time position (40 hours per week). The salary is starting from £37,000 depending on experience with regular overtime opportunities available. This is a permanent position, offering job stability, exciting training and development opportunities and company van with necessary tools/equipment.
The successful applicant will benefit from 28 days annual leave per year (including bank holidays) along with paid leave over an extended Christmas break!
