I must extend my thanks to your Team – this has been an extremely complex scheme, with intervention from various 3rd parties made all the more difficult due to the nature and condition of the site.

The project has turned out better than any of our expectations and this is thanks to the hard work of the team. There are too many for to me offer my thanks to personally, but I hope you will pass on my deep thanks to all site and office based staff involved in the scheme – let’s hope it continues to be a roaring success. 

This is the second time we have worked with Concorde. The first was a design and build and this one was very much a build but on both occasions, we have enjoyed working with the teams, they have been very much integrated into our team so we work hand-in-hand and that’s been a very positive experience for us. So much so that we are now looking at the next two projects with the Concorde team, so I guess that’s a testament to the success of that relationship.

Borough Yards has been a huge project which has been a huge undertaken to get three separate restaurants all within the same space, both in terms of the design and the implementation. Its hard to overestimate how much of a challenge that’s been but I think its been really successful and hopefully people will see when they come to enjoy it.

Your help in getting us delivering at the ‘customer facing’ end is so vitally important and over the years I have had the privilege to work with you all in doing so. The personal relationship we have, that is exclusive to us in the West Country, will continue to provide further opportunity for us all over the years to come.

From Fullers, Palmers and now the Liberation Group it is have been an absolute pleasure to work with you all. I cannot thank you all enough for the long hours, sacrifice and dedication you put into our projects – oh and simply dealing with me!

Since Covid restrictions have eased the pub has gone from strength to strength and we envisage many years of growth out of the business. The pub has been designed in a way which means it will never be dated and will always be known as an iconic London pub.  We have received a lot of great feedback both internally from our family owners and external from our guests. 

I have been thoroughly impressed by Guy, Emma, Stella and the team at Concorde BGW and would highly recommend them. To that end we have commandeered their services for two-multimillion-pound projects in 2022 /2023!

Having acquired the historic George Hotel, in Hathersage, a whole new identity was required.  The aim was to restore this dated building into a contemporary coaching inn, that would be a popular and vibrant Peak District venue.  After using Concorde BGW before, it was the obvious choice to use them again and they delivered.

From initial concept meetings, to design, build and finish, I could not have been happier.  Natasha managed to take the concept and deliver all everything that I envisaged and more.  The build was effortless and service throughout was exemplary.  Communication was spot on and any last-minute requests were taken on with no quibbles.

Since reopening this venue, trade has increased to a level not imagined and the feedback from guests regarding the look and the feel of the bar and restaurant has been overwhelming.

I would definitely be looking to use Concorde BGW again in the future and couldn’t recommend them enough.  A huge thanks to all involved.

TRUST - believe in the reliability, truth, or ability of something or someone

When planning our cocktail bar, Richard Wilson, MD of Concorde BWG said ‘‘trust me and my team to deliver what you want, on time and within budget’’. This was not an easy statement to believe but I am delighted to say it was true.

We now have the most beautiful space that was delivered just as promised; not quite on time, but then we did have a little ‘down tools lockdown’ in the middle of the project. This did not deter the team and our vision became real just as we had imagined.
