Located within 300 acres of landscaped gardens and woodland in Follifoot, near Harrogate, Rudding Park is a family-owned luxury resort.
The Golf Academy previously served as the reception area for the driving range and short course, as well as providing retail space for the site.
As part of the refurbishment, we created a small catering kitchen within the existing store and removed the office to make way for a purpose-built reception desk serving both the adventure golf course and driving range. A new bar servery was also introduced for drinks service and food ordering.
The site experiences significant changes in footfall throughout the year, from quieter midweek periods during winter to busy weekends throughout the summer. The new layout and catering offer therefore needed to be easily scalable, allowing the space to operate efficiently with a smaller team during quieter periods while also supporting higher volumes at peak times.
