This 17th Century riverside pub has been completely remodelled, inside and out, with all the comforts and style you would expect from a Butcombe Boutique Inn. Situated in a totally unique location on the banks of the River Thames, the venue is surrounded by stunning views of water and rolling hills.
The interiors have been beautifully curated with a real eye for quality, detail and comfort with elegant country styling. Botanical and Arts and Crafts wallpaper features alongside Chesterfield sofas, oversized rugs, leather upholstered chairs, deep button fixed banquettes and feature window seats. Very much a destination for walkers, events and celebrations, the Trout offers a variety of beautifully styled areas to choose from including the newly designed snug and private dining room.
Accessed through a newly created private courtyard, all six guest rooms and ensuite bathrooms have been completely redecorated to an incredibly high standard as well. In keeping with the inn’s fabulous waterfront location, each bedroom has been named after a fishing rod. The rooms can be found tucked away far from any bustle in a quiet courtyard, and have been designed to provide elevated luxury with vintage furnishings, rain showers or claw-foot tubs, and comfortable king-size beds.
